lovely atmosphere & pub, beautiful parquet floor throughout, interesting menu, good food but horrid waitress who we heard moaning about us as we dared to point out that the 48 hour cooked brisket was parched dry, and not as you would hope melt-in-the-mouth. ruined an otherwise very pleasant evening. We won't be going back

The food in the Dove Restaurant (above the pub) was amazing, Italian influences were clear in the well thought out and fantastically cooked food.
Havnt eaten downstairs yet - by all accounts its more pub food style, less complicated style of food.
Atmosphere is fab, log fire downstairs and a very eclectic mixed bunch of people of all ages.
A definite community feel to the place.
