The Market Place, what a great little find. Too often restaurants get carried away with pomp and ceremony surrounding food. I love this place as its always welcoming, the simple English food tastes fantastic and it offers outstanding value for money. Great job!

Not impressed. We were a large group in Jan 09 and the waitress seemed put out at our presence - becoming increasingly abrupt and dismissive. A few old fashioned values such as basic courtesy and attention to detail were lacking here. The food was average. The plates were cold.
The bottle of ketchup placed on the table was the finishing touch. My partner commented that the whole place smelled...

Took a friend and her daughter to this place because of the 35% off voucher. Was very nice, atmosphere was pleasant, staff very friendly. the voucher only applies to main meals only (it does not include set menu option, or drinks - not sure about starters or puddings as we didn't have any room for this).

went last night using this offer but even without this offer the the food is well priced, especially as it tastes so good! friendly staff and nice atmosphere
